Denise Dutton
Denise originates from Bedfordshire where she
spent her childhood, she now resides in Leek,
Staffordshire. She trained at the Doulton
School of Sculpture in Stoke on Trent; where
she spent 3 years perfecting her techniques.
Her career has now developed to a point where
she is now recognised as one of the finest
equestrian figurative sculptors in the
country.
Denise is a very talented artist who has spent
a great deal of time in the detailed study of
human and equine anatomy. Through
her work Denise is continually looking to
present the horse in an anatomically correct
state, an extended study period of 9
years, spent by Denise on the musculoskeletal
system of the horse in motion, enables her to
produce precise work that brings her subjects
to life, whilst ensuring the
integrity of bodily tensions, sympathetically
capturing the sheer essence of spirit, life
and movement of her subjects.
Her superior
portraiture skills and attention to detail;
along with her dedicated ongoing detailed
study of equine anatomy make her the perfect
choice of sculptor to take on any small or
large equestrian portrait.
Denise is looking to secure equestrian
portraits in any size, trophies and site
specific work, she also has a number of life
