Chris
Wormald
Chris graduated from Falmouth school of Art,
London in 1985 with a BA (hons) in Fine Art;
he then went on to complete a post graduate
course in sculpture at St. Martins School of
art in 1986.
Chris lives and works in York, he has
completed many private and public commissions
over the last 15 years.
His work is very much established in a British
figurative style, drawing on the shape and
movement of his subjects. A highly detailed
finish and strong flowing lines have become
the hallmark of his work.
He has successfully shown his work in a number
of high profile exhibitions and has a very
distinguished history of producing figures and
props for film sets in Hollywood. He has also
produced figures and settings that can be
seen in many of today's top museums and
worldwide attractions.
Chris is a very versatile artist whom has the
studio facilities and experience to handle any
large scale project and
is interested in large site specific
commissions both in the public and private
sector.
